Alberta Advantage Immigration Program formerly known as Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) is one of the Provincial Nominee Program for Canada Immigration. ALBERTA ADVANTAGE IMMIGRATION PROGRAM
Strategic Recruitment Stream
1. Compulsory and Optional Trades Category:
In this category, the applicant should be a foreign worker with trade certification which is essential or optional trade-in A.A.I.T. (Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training).
2. Engineering Occupational Category:
Under this category, an applicant can apply if he/she has temporary work experience in the province of Alberta in a similar field.
3. Post Graduate Worker Category:
If the prospective want to apply under this stream, he/she must have done post-secondary education from Alberta or have a Post-Graduation work permit in Alberta.
Employer-Driven Stream
1. Skilled Worker Category:
Under this stream, an applicant must have a full-time job offer letter in hand from the employer of Alberta in a required skilled category.
2. International Graduate Category:
The candidate applying in this stream must have a degree/diploma from the certified institute of Canada and have a job offer from an Alberta Employer.
3. Semi-Skilled Worker Category:
The candidate must have received a full-time job offer letter from the employer of Alberta in a required semi-skilled occupation.
Self-Employed Farmer Stream
Candidate applying for this category must have sufficient fund, and experience in the farming to buy or set up a farm in Alberta.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR AAIP:
Alberta Advantage Immigration Program works in coordination with the Federal government to send an invitation to the nominated skilled foreign workers the opportunity to settle permanently in the Alberta province of Canada. The individuals expecting to receive an invitation from the Alberta province are expected to score at least 67 points in the point system of the Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System Grid. The candidate has to verify whether or not their expected occupation is mentioned in the occupation list of Alberta, after confirming their eligibility.
