Following are the Manitoba Immigration Streams:
MPNP-Skilled Worker
- The skilled worker category of Manitoba is structured for the selection of a highly skilled and experienced candidate who further can apply for the PR of Canada.
- This program is designed for the temporary overseas worker or student. Applicant should have a job offer letter from the Manitoba employer.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant should either be eligible for the temporary overseas worker program or an international student graduate program
- The applicant should have a job offer letter from the employer of Manitoba
- The work experience of the applicant must be at least 6 months in the Manitoba employer
- Have received work permit or post-grade work permit from the IRCC
- Should be qualified for training/education along with its required certificates.
- Should have a job letter in hand and language proficiency in English or French.
- Should have proper settlement plan to live and work in Manitoba
2. Skilled Workers (Overseas)
The candidate applying should obtain the required points in the following aspects – English proficiency, education, age, work experience, and other details.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Have to score at least 60 points out of 100 in the assessment grid
- Should have a strong connection to Manitoba through friend or family, past work experience, an ITA in hand issued by MPNP.
MPNP-Business
Manitoba seeks to attract investors and entrepreneurs from all over the world who are willing and capable of investing in business; they can also invest or become partners in an established business. The candidates who has shown Expression of Interest (EOI) and received ITA for, can also apply through this stream. There are two pathways for this stream- Entrepreneur Pathway and Farm Investor Pathway
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate applying for this stream should have at least CAD $350,000 fund in their pocket
- Experience required for applying this field is a minimum of 3 years in an established business and management or else a minimum of 3 years of experience as a senior manager in a business.
- Candidate need to score a minimum of 60 points in an Adaptability Assessment Matrix
- Language proficiency certification is mandatory.
Farm Strategic Recruitment Initiative (FSRI)
This category is structured for the aspirant who has genuine farm business experience, sufficient funds to invest and want to run a farm business in Manitoba rural areas. The applicant who gets selected through FSRI can start a farm business in Manitoba’s rural areas.
Eligibility Criteria
- For FSRI candidate should have at least worth of CAD $350,000
- The experience required for FSRI is at least 3 years or farm ownership and current experience along with supportive documents.
- Proof of English or French language abilities
- The candidate should show some flexibility, accuracy with practical farming skills with exposure to technology-based farming, etc.
